  1. Energy savings guarantees require that a complete system be replaced with a new 12 SEER/90+ AFUE comfort system with duct sealing or duct replacement and a whole house high efficiency filter.
  2. Homes with LP gas, Oil, gas logs or swimming pools do not qualify because one cannot determine with certainty how much use occurs during which periods because of storage and delivery methods associated with these fuels and methods.

If your new Risk Free Comfort System is a Lennox or Grandaire 12 SEER Air Conditioning or Heat Pump System with 92% AFUE furnace

We guarantee 33% energy savings provided that existing air conditioning/heat pump system is 8 SEER or less and the existing furnace is 80% AFUE or less

If your new Risk Free Comfort System is a Lennox Signature Series System Heat Pump or Gas Furnace and Air Conditioner

We guarantee 50% energy savings provided that existing air conditioning/heat pump system is 8 SEER or less and the existing furnace is 80% AFUE or less

How to figure the annual savings

To figure the heating and cooling costs requires at least three years of electric and or gas usage history. This is two years before the installation and one year after the installation of the subject equipment. It also requires that one determine the base line of normal monthly utility costs without the heating and air conditioning expenses. When you have a base line of normal use, all consumption above the base line usage is for heating and air conditioning costs. 

The base line is created by averaging the two lowest months of utility consumption, one from Spring and one from Fall, and multiplying by 12 which gives you the total power consumed by non heating and cooling use. 

Total the costs for each 12 month period and subtract the total baseline from the total energy bills and you have the cost of the heating and air conditioning for the home.
